COLORSTEEL Titania Roof, Macandrew Bay
A two-storey home above Otago Harbour, finished in COLORSTEEL Titania at 0.55 mm heavy gauge for an exposed peninsula site. Sheets were craned onto the upper roof, new hip and ridge flashings were folded and fitted tight, and a run of translucent sheeting on the lean-to keeps daylight coming into the room below. Dunedin Solar fitted the panels once we were off the roof, so the new roof was earning its keep straight away.

A Licensed Building Practitioner on the roof, not just on the quote. Josh prices every job himself and is up there while it is being done. Heavy gauge Colorsteel as standard, in corrugate or 5-rib to suit your roof’s pitch, with the grade matched to how much salt your site takes. Flashings are folded and fitted to suit the roof rather than pulled off a shelf, and the frame and battens underneath get checked before any new steel goes down.
Every roof we fit comes with a 10-year workmanship guarantee and a material warranty certificate. Scaffolding, stripping the old roof and carting it away are part of the price, and we clear the offcuts and screws off the roof, out of the gutters and off the section before we leave.

Roof rusting, leaking or past its best? Send a few details and we’ll come and look at it. We get up on the roof and check what’s under the surface, then send a written quote for the whole job, scaffolding and clean-up included. If a repair will do instead, we’ll tell you that.
